Once, he was the main attraction at the Circus of the Bizarre. Now, he's tracked by the OSIC as he destroys zoos, private gardens, and laboratories in an endless path of revenge. That path has brought Chimera to New York in search of a wish.
Chimera is an adaptable and unpredictable front-liner.
He can use a variety of moves to heavily punish opponents who lose track of what he's going to do next.
APPEARANCE
A lanky man, keeping his face hidden under sunglasses and a hat, and his torso hidden under a long coat.
Most of his attacks have him pull his trenchcoat open, revealing an ever-shifting deformed torso dotted with animal bits.
GUN - Scylla/Charybdis
Fitting Chimera's shifting nature, his gun transforms on reload between a 5-shot burst SMG and a 5-pellet shotgun.
ABILITY 1 - ARM TRANSFORM (25s CD, Projectile)
Chimera's left arm transforms into an animal head and executes an attack.
The attack cycles between 3 heads each time it's used.
The dragon head spits a fireball that deals spirit damage in a small radius where it lands.
The lion head bites forward, dealing melee damage and healing for some of the damage done.
The goat head slams the ground, applying knockup and reducing enemy bullet resist.
Tier 1 - Dragon Head applies -Spirit Damage on hit.
Tier 2 - Goat Head applies -Fire Rate on hit.
Tier 3 - Successful hits will reduce Cooldown by -10s.
[Chimera's main move to keep track of, for himself and enemies. Each head is strong, but requires different positioning and targets to be most effective- if you don't use each one to its fullest potential you'll be wasting your cooldown.]
ABILITY 2 - RHINO HIDE (45s cooldown, Channeled)
Chimera sprouts a rhinoceros head from his upper torso, pulling open his trenchcoat.
Channel to gain bullet and spirit resist, while having your movement speed greatly reduced. You can cancel early.
When the duration fully ends, Chimera slams the rhino head on the ground, stunning and damaging in a radius.
The damage increases based on the amount of damage Chimera took while channeling, up to 200%.
Tier 1 - Movement speed reduction reduced.
Tier 2 - -10s Cooldown and damage increase goes up to 300%.
Tier 3 - Immunity to non-ultimate stuns while channeling.
[A stun and tank ability that also works as a mindgame. Will you go for the slam or back off early? Will they retreat to avoid taking a massive hit or will they try to kill you before it's over?]
ABILITY 3 - BIRD SHOT (15s cooldown, Projectile with charges)
Chimera shoots a flesh pigeon from under his coat forwards, which will deal spirit damage to any enemy it hits.
Pigeons are slower than most projectiles, but have slight homing, curving towards enemies it comes close to.
If you cast it in the air, you'll be thrown slightly backwards.
Tier 1 - +1 Charge
Tier 2 - Pigeons heal for 2% Max Health on hit.
Tier 3 - Pigeons refill 1 charge on hit.
[A spammable projectile, a bit like Shiv knives. Toss these into a teamfight, or use the backwards knockback as a triple jump. I think using Rapid Recharge and pigeon-jumping across the sky would be very funny.]
ABILITY 4 - THE MENAGERIE (75s cooldown, AOE)
Chimera rips open his coat, unleashing a variety of animal limbs.
If the ult is unused for the amount of time as the cooldown, it will level up, adding more animals.
(e.g. 75s for Level 1, 150s for Level 2, 225s for Level 3)
Level 1 - Octopus tentacles swing in a cone in front of Chimera, slowing and dealing moderate damage.
Level 2 - Bees emerge in a large AOE, swarming onto enemies, lowering Spirit Resist and causing DOT.
Level 3 - An elephant trunk trumpets in an AOE, silencing and dealing heavy damage.
Tier 1 - Bees reduce Bullet Resist.
Tier 2 - -10s Cooldown. (60s Level 1, 120s Level 2, 180s Level 3)
Tier 3 - Elephant disarms.
[Do you want to use your ult often or save it up for a massive game-winning teamfight? Will that Chimera blast us with bees or is he going to wait another minute to get elephant?]
PERSONALITY
Owing to his past in the freakshow, Chimera hates humanity, and glorifies animals. His wish to the Patrons is for animals to rise up and overthrow their masters.
He encourages Ava and Rohan to attack their owners.
He considers Billy to be a mockery of the noble goat.
He sees Vindicta to be a kindred spirit, working in revenge of their treatment.
