Chat Wheel Pointer DPI Speed Dipped to Minimum

Since the release of "Graves"
( or at least after the update "1-30-2026"
https://forums.playdeadlock.com/threads/01-30-2026-update.102822/ ),
the mouse sensitivity settings are ignored while the "Chat Wheel" is open.

Outside matches the slowdown of the selection-pointer is noticeable.
But within the matches the pointer movement is slowed down even further.

This most likely is due to "Mouse Smoothing"-option is now gone from Deadlock.exe
( or at least I recall Deadlock did have this option previously ).

Disabling "Enhance Pointer Precision (Windows 11) / Mouse Acceleration" is a workaround.

Alternative theory:
Looking closer that the movement of the Chat Wheel pointer, I feel there might some sort of the rendering limitation or something akin. As in rest of the game keeps staying in smooth 60FPS while the Chat Wheel pointer feels extremely irresponsive and thus not moving almost at all.

Regardless, the "Chat Wheel"-menu shouldn't be ignoring the mouse-sensitivity settings to begin with
( like it used up to the recent updates ).

Can confirm that we've made UI respect "Enhance Pointer Precision toggle" (It is always off for camera control) I can look into restoring a way of forcing it off in all UI from options.

What was the mouse smoothing option? I can look into restoring it/making it accessible.

First, linking to another thread which had been made before this of mine here:
https://forums.playdeadlock.com/thr...e-up-and-requires-more-mouse-movement.102960/

As for "Mouse Smoothing", I might be mis-recalling the term used specially for Deadlock.

But at least in "Marvel Rivals" it's described like this:
"Enabling this will activate mouse smoothing, reducing jitter and stuttering."

Marvel Rivals also nowadays has "Mouse Acceleration" and "Raw Input" to name couple;
screenshot attached for all related settings.

Mouse Smoothing
Mouse AccelerationRaw Input

High Polling Rate Mouse Optimization

Now, I have no exact technical knowhows on how all these settings interact with / affect each other alongside the "Enhance Pointer Precision (Windows 11) / Mouse Acceleration" of the WIndows and other operative systems offer.

Only thing I know for certain is my preference to combining both the "precision enhancement" alongside "smoothing".

And currently indeed only the Chat / Ping Wheel is being troublesome to many players, me included.

At least, from a point of a view an end-user who has these (Logitech G502X-)mouse settings:
- 6400 (six-thousand four-hundred) DPI sensitivity
- 1K (one-thousand) Report Rate (per second)

(( Also having tested just before posting this:
In the current version #6.232 the Chat Wheel is not as "snappy" as it used to be. But otherwise certainly felt far less sluggish than "yesterday". ))

I can see that DPI is absolutely going to factor into this: There is a mouse pixel distance that, if exceeded since the Ping down-press, will trigger the chat wheel open instantly, before delay. That's obviously going to feel smaller if you have higher mouse DPI. I may experiment with turning this into a view angle based threshold instead, so that it's mouse DPI agnostic.

(And unfortunately the chat wheel doesn't animate in instantly when this happens, but it should, and that will be a clearer indicator of when it happens).

Appreciate all the feedback.
