Character Selection (Edit Roster) Not Updating in Match Queue

Problem Description: After changing the selected characters for a match, the system still places me in the match with the characters from my previous selection, including a character I have never chosen or played before.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the game and go to the character selection screen.
  2. Notice that the current character selection is from the previous match. I click "Enter Queue" but immediately exit the queue by selecting "Edit Roster" to adjust my selection, as my current selection is set for a random team.
  3. Open the menu to change my roster.
  4. Change my selection to my preferred characters: McGinnis (pink), Vindicta, and Grey Talon (white).
  5. Click "Enter Queue" again.
  6. Instead of entering the match with my new selection, I’m placed in the match with the character IVY, whom I have never unlocked, selected, or used.

Expected Result: After changing my roster, I should enter the queue with the updated selection rather than the previous one.

Actual Result: The match queue continues in real-time with the previous character selection without stopping. Once I confirm the new roster, I am still placed in the match with the old selection.

recently also had a guy with seemingly the same issue, he got Mo&Krill but was pretty much confused because he said he just removed him from the lineup
