It just doesn't work at all, I've played 6 games over the course of 3 days and haven't been able to actually play the one character I want to play. I know there is merit to learning multiple characters, but this is my first game like this. I would like to be able to have some baseline with one character when it comes to practicing a build and working with counters... no characters play similarly enough for this to work for me. I don't have the time to spread my approach, I really like a certain character, and I would like to simply be able to play them.. It's been days. I get home from work and practice with bots excited about the build Idea, only to literally not be able to play them in the max 3 games I get to play a day. Yesterday I just abandoned.. I feel bad but I'm really excited about one character, and I don't really feel that way about any others.
It would be fine if priority queue wasn't a guarantee, but it feels like it isn't working at all.. and that just bums me out because my passion for getting into this game stems from the playstyle of this one character... okay enough ranting, I've read all the forums talking about this, I'm not angry like the others
I just want it to prioritize my character of choice, wouldn't that be nice if I could have *some* consistency starting the game?
Edit: I've been able to leave 2 games today due to other people disconnecting, so in total I am actively in my 4th game of the day (8 games w/o priority queue working for me), and I'm sad to say the unlucky streak has continued.. lol I swear man, this game is really really really really cool please let me enjoy it my way while starting out T-T
