---------------------------Brief overview
Riven/Aatrox style AssassinItalian American character. Opera styled clothing inspired by Mozart's Maestro outfit. Vespa means Wasp in italian
Play style - Chaser, movement rich roamer - Drifter/Shiv/Mirage/Lash/Fathom Inspired
Abilities and Combat
Weapon: 2 knives, in each hand. long range swipe "bullets" like Apollo but smaller. Switches hands between attacks like Drifter
Ability 1 - Knives attack
3 stage ability - SpiritOn the first cast: Slashes Knives in a downward X shape (melee range), Hits Twice. Can be recast within a very short period of time
Recast: Slashes Knives in an upward X shape (melee range). Hits Twice. Can be recast within a very short period of time
Final Cast: Spins with both knives extended parallel to body outwards for a set duration. Can be cancelled. Each instance of contact is considered a singular hit. (similar to Juggernaut's Blade Fury)
Ability 2 - Shoulder leap
Movement ability - SpiritPoint and Click: Select a target enemy player dash towards them and leap behind them. No cooldown but cannot be recast on the same hero within a set duration. Does not deal damage.
Ability 3 - Bleed
Passive/ Active - SpiritPassive: each instance of damage on an enemy applies a stack of bleed. Will trigger Active after a set period of time.
Active: Consume all stacks of bleed. Heal amount per stack. Enemy target will take x stacks of bleed damage over a set period of time
Ability 4 - Ambush
Active/Drive - SpiritActive - Throws a rope in the aimed direction. Very long range, Center of blue bridge to Buffs bridge. Two different effects whether it hits an enemy player or map geometry. Cannot be used within 4 seconds of taking damage
On Enemy Player hit: Pulls them towards Vespa. Upon completing the pull Vespa deals several instances of damage to the target. Assassin enters Ambush Mode.
On Map Geometry Hit: Pulls assassin quickly towards the hit map geometry upon arriving at destination launches player slightly up and maintains forward momentum from the pull. Assassin enters Ambush Mode.
Ambush Mode: Player can hold alternate fire whilst in the air to glide with the cape (Moon Knight style, faster than Mina umbrella). If player keeps contact with a wall for around 0.5 seconds they can cling to it. Player enters stealth whilst wall clinged. Shoulder leap can be used once with no target to quickly dive downwards.
Closing remarks
Some ideas for ability upgradesAbility 1: Maybe each ability upgrade would increase the utility of one of the cast options.
Ability 2: T1 applying a slow to target enemy. T2 applys 1 stack of bleed to target enemy. T3 allows for an additional targeting of the same enemy.
Ability 3. Idk tbh
Ability 4: Maybe passive healing while stealthed like slark or next cast of the first ability deals extra damage after a wall cling.
High mobility character. death by a thousand stings and annoyingly jumps around the battlefield. Da Waspler.
