Aerovita The Air Apparent
Send - Them - Flying
Goal: There’s a lot of ults in this game that lock you down and make it hard to move. What if there was a character with an ult that did the exact opposite?
Gun: Aerovita has a lever action rifle that is good at medium to long range. I imagine it as being close to Dead Man’s Tale from Destiny 2.
Ability 1: Wind Shield
Aerovita conjures a wall of wind that blocks projectiles and deals damage to enemies that pass through it. The wall is taller than it is wide, so it is only effective for 1 player to hide behind. The wall slowly advances forward over the course of several seconds.
Ability 2: Accelerating Vortex
Aerovita channels the wind around the barrel of his gun, causing bullets to be fired with more velocity and accuracy.
Ability 3: A Mighty Storm
Aerovita summons a whirlwind at the target location, the whirlwind deals a small amount of damage over time while enemies are inside its AOE. As they stay in the whirlwind, enemies will be pulled to the center of the AOE.
Ability 4: Airburst
Aerovita causes the air in an area to rapidly expand. This causes enemies inside the AOE to be violently pushed away from the center, the strength of the push is determined by how close they are to the center. (I imagine this ability’s push as being a spectrum of about 20 meters if the enemy is on the edge; then, under the right circumstances, an enemy right by the center of the AOE could be sent from Green lane to Yellow lane.)
