TLDR: Sanguine Retreat gets stuck on corners — sphere/capsule collision would fix this
I've been meaning to make this post for months. When using Sanguine Retreat (SR), Mina frequently gets stuck on corners instead of sliding around them.
The problem:
In the attached video, I'm aiming my crosshair under the bridge in mid, but SR gets caught on the corner of a pillar. As a player, you can't tell whether a surface has simple or complex collision geometry. Many corners in Deadlock don't match their visual geometry, so it's impossible to predict when SR will slide along a wall versus getting completely stuck.
This isn't limited to one spot — it's a recurring issue across many edges and corners in the map.
Suggested fix:
If Mina used sphere/capsule collision during SR instead of box collision, she would naturally wrap around corners rather than getting fully stuck on them. A sphere slides along surfaces on contact, while a box catches on edges.
