Can't launch a match. Game always crashes out without any bug report.

I've tried several times to start a game. But each time game crashes at the moment of loading in match. I've tried tinkering settings, tried to check local files (but it won't even start checking and always freezes at 0%), tried changing DirectX3D to Vulkan, tried to update drivers (they're up to date).

I would check the other threads about this verifying stuck at 0% issue. It's very common recently and has been affecting a lot of people myself included.

Since the major update "Old Gods, New Blood," I've been experiencing occasional game crashes when trying to join a game and receiving an error message.

(FETAL ERROR: Content file d/program files (x86)\steam\steammapps\common\deadlock\game\citadel\maps\dl_midtown.vpk is corrupt. Verify integrity of game files.)

The first time it crashed, I had to restart my PC before I could verify the game files because nothing happened and it wouldn't start.

The second time, restarting my PC didn't help, verifying the files didn't work either, and I had to download the game again.

The only one i've seen that might do something would be turning off XMP in BIOS and setting your ram settings to auto. The issue seems to stem from vram usage although my knowledge is limited.

I've fixed that by deleting boot.vcfg file. (\steamapps\common\Deadlock\game\citadel\cfg\boot.vcfg).
