Can't join a match

When I was testing a hero and tried to leave I got the prompt shown in the image. After leaving the game I don't have the option to find a new game instead it has been replaced with the rejoin button which always fails as there is no game to rejoin.
I am playing on Linux with an arch based distro, I'm also using gamescope.

Found a fix,
If you go back into hero testing and you abandon the match with penalty the problem is fixed.
