Issue: when static, attempting to dash by pressing shift and a direction simultaneously will not consistently initiate a dash. The player must already be in motion (holding a directional button) for the shift key to start a dash.
This can lead to very sticky interactions with the shop where the player will be unable to dodge attacks as they have stopped moving and must start walking before attempting to dash. This can also add friction to the player dashing back and fourth, as rapidly swapping directions can lead to brief moments of zero motion.
Ideal solution: when trying to start a dash from a standing position, pressing a directional input and shift at or at nearly the exact same time should start a dash.
