Cannot rejoin match

I was playing a match and about 5 minutes in the screen just faded to black and sent me back into the lobby. I didn't lose connection, my internet is fine everything else is working perfectly. I have been in the lobby trying to rejoin but it won't let me, I've restarted the game multiple times and tried to queue for other matches but nothing is working. The only option I have is to abandon the match and take a penalty but I really don't want to do that because I already have three penalty's, one I had to leave mid game for an emergency, two because I lost power due to a storm, and three due to the same error I'm talking about right now. My last penalty lasted a whole day so I'd really rather not take this one especially since this is completely out of my control.
(Update) bit the bullet and abandoned the match and I can still queue for games so I guess I'm not banned, but Issue still stands and I feel bad for leaving my team early game.
