Can we talk about Haze?

post this under feedback hero subthread haze if you want to give feedback. community wise as you can see its mostly a case of her being a pubstomp hero. everyone wants to do dam, nobody wants to get utility. that's the nature of playing video games.

Thankfully there's a playing curve where losing becomes more frustrating than doing dam and you start just itemizing better. playtime goes a long way.

Another important thing for this thread, while i agree haze is not broken and its a symptom of some lack of knowledge of how to play the map and end the game instead of stalling, there's something to be said when something is annoying to fight and how some characters wreck low level play creating frustration. Get gud! is not an answer, and while different characters bring different strenghs at different levels of play, the discussion if her ult needs evasion and how is that intuitive or not in a shooter adjacent game. There are some sources of pierce and very few of evasion, though should there have to be a solution item for a problem that shouldn't exist?

Didn't actually know -where- to post it, since it feels like the forum is kind of a chasm of "where do I post things".

That said, I get where you're coming from.
Whilst I may not be the best at the game, I know a lot about how games should function from my interactions with games in the past. The very design of her kit is extremely toxic. If she gets ahead by just a little (just like Warden), she just walks over the game by steamroll.

Granted; this is not allways the case. Where a good Haze and a bad Haze can distinguish themselves differently with her kit. But in both cases, her Fixate is stupidly strong in terms of how it scales.
This is not about skill level. It's an observation, to a problem that isn't the same for any other character. (Except maybe Infernus passive? But that one is fine, because the kit he wields is not as toxic as Haze's.)

In my opinion, if the developer weakens all the characters, then the only thing that needs to be nerfed by Haze is 1 skill. I would remove sleep and replace it with a slowdown. This is too tough a combo (knockdown + sleep dagger + curse). This is a one hundred percent kill for absolutely anyone. Moreover, in the late game there is enough knockdown and a sleep dagger and after aegis you can kill with one curse.If we are talking about a line , then it is usually a sleepy dagger + a heavy blow or a way out of a fight .This skill is too strong .
