Saw some other people already post this but decided to showcase it when looking at another melee character (Abrams).
As they've said, calico has a period in between consecutive punches where you will move forward despite not pressing any movement keys.
This interaction happens when you either spam quick melee consecutively or when doing consecutive heavy melee charges.
In this clip I only held down melee and no movement keys were pressed.

EDIT: Pretty sure this is due to calico's new ava jump attack. They both go the same distance, have the little move forward before the melee, etc.
I tested to see if it only does that if the Ava ability is unlocked but that wasn't the case. Even when Ava hasn't been unlocked you still have the melee bug.
