I tested all the heroes Fire Rate and DPS increases with Fire Rate buff items and it was not the same with the two burst fire heroes Lash and Paradox.
Here is some examples, if you buy Swift Striker on the following 4 heroes, which gives a 10% WD buff and a 22% Fire Rate Buff. I wanted to wait until this latest patch to test if it still exists and it does.
AUTOMATIC HEROES:
Kelvin
Before Swift Striker: DPS: 84 / Fire Rate: 4
After Swift Striker: DPS: 112 (33.3% increase) / Fire Rate: 4.88 (22% Increase)
Wraith
Before Swift Striker: DPS: 61 / Fire Rate: 11.1
After Swift Striker: DPS: 82 (34.4% increase) / Fire Rate: 13.6 (22.5% Increase)
BURST HEROES:
Lash
Before Swift Striker: DPS: 61 / Fire Rate: 6.12
After Swift Striker: DPS: 74 (21.3% increase) / Fire Rate: 6.74 (10.1% Increase)
Paradox
Before Swift Striker: DPS: 57 / Fire Rate: 7.94
After Swift Striker: DPS: 68 (19.2% increase) / Fire Rate: 8.63 (8.6% Increase)
This may be intentional, but I don't believe it is, because the DPS is not increasing the same as other heroes.
