brawl match, item selection screen (could not exit menu)

I can't see a match id, the game time was 2/11/2026 7:19pm aest.
Any item out of the 4 options would reset as if it didn't work, and the item select menu showed again.
Couldn't move.

the item select menu on the 3rd option of the endgame, to clarify. after selecting an item it just kept popping up again.

I didn't even select an item, I think it selected an item then it kept adding items

then bugged out since all my active slots were full

I am running cachyos (arch linux), though I dont think it has anything to do with this. I think its a but when all your active item slots are full then when the menu has only active items so when you try to replace a slot it breaks and resets as if you didn't just get the item
if that makes sense

so you are just stuck in the buy menu but you can keep buying the same item, though the blur is insane cant see anything

rebooted into windows, had another game, same issue. perma stuck in the buy menu that keeps resetting every damn time I buy the item

It seems to be the 3rd item that causes the issue
