Black screen randomly when launching/closing Deadlock

I have a unique issue where on random occasions, i will receive a black screen when either launching or closing deadlock. It appears that my GPU just stops sending display data to my monitor. My system is completely fine as i can hear the game and interact with my operating system. The only way to fix it is to physically reseat the connection to my GPU (or PC reboot).
