Black screen/crash at base, Reboot needed

Randomly when in base trying to buy items my PC will black screen and display no signal and become unresponsive, however still playing some sound, discord voice chat sounds still play and in game audio can keep playing either as normal or sometimes start looping the last sounds. This requires me to cut the power from the PC to reboot.

has only happened in base so far, unsure if its tied to opening buy menu in base or if it could happen without.
can happen either after respawn or going back to base normally.
doesn't happen consistently, sometimes i go several games without it happening, sometimes it happens several times in one game, however there seems to be no consistency with it.

Specs and versions:
AMD Ryzen 9 5900x
Win 10 (19045)
RTX 3070 (560.94)
MAG 550 TOMAHAWK (A.B1) possible reason for crash?)
Corsair vengeance 32GB 3600mhz
Fractal Design Ion gold 850 W 80+

while this won't fix the game per say, it should at least recover the video output: Windows logo key + Ctrl + Shift + B

the key command sends a restart to the video driver, this may get you a display back without having to reboot.

then you should see if you have any logs at:

1. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Project8Staging\game\bin\win64\project8_*_*_*_*_*.mdmp",
2. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\dumps\crash_project8.exe_*_*.dmp";
