I have had an issue since the update on 11/10/24 with a black flashing screen. I reinstalled the game and the problem persisted. I then verified integrity of game files which didn't work. I even reinstalled my graphics drivers to see if that was a fix. In order to fix it, I simply upped my graphics from the second lowest (2) to the second highest (3). This instantly fixed the problem and it hasn't troubled me since. If anyone has the same issue, try upping the graphics. There may be a specific graphical component in the settings that will fix it, and you won't have to up everyone setting in order to preserve FPS.
