Black Blizzard - Suppressor Upgrade

I was wanting an upgrade to suppressor for the late game, and I think it'd be cool for an upgrade to be similar to how Mystic Slow upgrades to Lightning Scroll

Item(4).png

I also considered the name Jamming Scroll.

Anyways, I think that black blizzard works well because its kinda like M&K's sand blast. I think it should instantly disarm, since they can still dispell the disarm or counter the ult proc. While there are mass silences in the game, there are no mass disarms in the game, and I think that this would be a cool way to add it in :3.

I was thinking this was gonna be nasty to deal with... but honestly...
Considering the amount of silences vs disarms, as well as how strong gun scalers can be, yeah. I like this!

Tad problem, observe Haze, Dynamo and Dispel magic. You would notice a "purge all non-ultimate negative effects". I think the special niche to this item is that you can't dispel this disarm.

I also think to make this item more stronger, is that the disarm should come with a slight delay (2.25s delay), similar to Lightning scroll. I also suggest the disarm can NOT be reduced via debuff reduction. You'll see why later below. It's also a 6.4K item. Gotta make it the ultimate disarm item, no?

Let's use Mo as a case study. Mo has 3.1 duration at max level. This has a 3s disarm duration.

Suppose Mo ults you, without extension (the gap unextended increase even further with superior duration, making superior duration an even greater purchase, up to a certain point):
Disarm kicks in 2 seconds after the ultimate. Assume Mo is still grabbing them. That means there is (3.1-2.25) = 0.85 seconds left for wasted disarm (since they are being grabbed).
3-0.85 = 2.15 seconds left of disarm. Considering this is immediately after being ulted, and the gap grows, 2.15 second disarm afterwards would still be nice on Mo. It opens up the use case for this item.

Assume we start stacking duration like crazy, for base kit of Mo:
+20%, +15%, 15%, +28% (includes the disarm duration) , +15%
= 234% (rounded up)

Mo ult => 7.254
Disarm duration = 3.84

7.254 - 2.25 = 5.004 seconds wasted.
This would chew up all the disarm duration, as 5.254 > 3.84.

So clearly somewhere, it is unoptimal.
3.1P - 2.25 >= 3
implies
3.1P >= 5.25
equals to
P >= 169% (approximately)

Or in case with superior duration (note P is extra from superior):
3.1(P+0.28) - 2.25 >= 3.84
equals to
3.1P + 0.868 - 2.25 >= 3.84
implies
3.1P >= 5.222
equals to
P >= 168% (approximately)

Huh. What a concidence! This only occurs when you buy ALL ability durations, when the ultimate disarm becomes useless if you did a full channel on someone.

This means, for a Mo going ability duration maxxing against a lobby of M1 carries:
1) If start buying debuff reduction, or get it somehow in their kit automatically it benefits you (ran the numbers, you still get some disarm time).
2) You can cancel ultimate, and then use your stronger sand blasts (maybe with echo shard), with the ultimate uncleansedable disarm for greater effect and potency, considering ability duration maxxing aspect.
3) You don't buy every single ability duration (noobs tend to do that, bait purchases), unless that item is very useful, but you can combine it with the 2 for maximum effect. It also becomes really good in case scenario 1.

Honestly. The suggestions I made ontop of your base idea, and the exploration on the worst case of Mo, can still be salvaged and be a great pick to absolutely shut down gun abusers. It also fits nicely into Deadlock's careful counterpicking/theory crafting/mechnical tech aspect that Deadlock players LOVE! ME INCLUDED!

ABSOLUTELY APPROVED!

Really cool idea, I've been wanting a Suppressor upgrade for awhile now, and this makes for a pretty great (and interesting) one.

Personally, though, I'm not a fan of the name. Maybe something like Bewitching Charm? Defusing Charm? Or to go more along the line of your alt name, Jamming Jinx?

There have been a couple ideas like this where suppressor gets upgraded into a full disarm. Personally not a big fan of that, as I feel like it could be more interesting than that. Simultaneously, not every item needs an upgrade-such as high power early items that fall off late game, like Stalker.

Suppressor is very strong at practically every point in the game already, like Kinetic dash. No real reason it needs an upgrade imo.

The Jamming Jinx could be music related! And like, perhaps an electric symbol, with pink and purple? But it's not electric themed, it's more electric symbol for music?

Maybe music note? A sudden positive item would absolutely stand out and be... eye catching.
