Bebop ULTI ( 4 SKILL ) BUG

A bug with this ability has been around for a long time.

A little background:

When Bebop uses his ultimate, a zone is created at the laser's final point that deals damage to heroes, but there's a catch. For some reason, when an enemy attacked by Bebop is behind cover, BUT within the ultimate's zone, they don't take damage. This doesn't apply to situations where you're trying to damage a hero through a wall; the enemy could be literally standing behind a wand or transparent space; no direct contact means no damage. Many users are aware of this bug and exploit it against Bebop. I understand that the enemy is behind cover, so I aim the laser there, and the enemy is within the zone, but doesn't take damage!

I made a video about this; you can see how a hero is within the damage zone, but doesn't take any damage.

At the beginning of the video, I showed the problem that a hero in an area without direct line of sight to another hero doesn't take damage!
Then I showed that area-of-effect damage does occur and works with direct line of sight.

It's a linear AOE...... it's a line. not a circle.
I didn't understand what you meant by that? The hero's ability has a beam, and at the end of the beam there's a circle where damage is dealt, the same damage as if the beam hit. What do you mean?

If an enemy is not within Bebop's line of sight, they will not take damage from the beam. The circle's a bit misleading. That's how it has always sorta worked.

Если враг находится вне поля зрения Бибопа, он не получит урона от луча. Круг немного вводит в заблуждение. Так это всегда примерно работало.
Have you never played this hero? Go to the lobby; the circle at the end of the beam is where the damage is distributed at the end of the beam. You don't need to hit a hero on the ground; you can aim the beam nearby and deal damage in a circle. But if you don't have direct line of sight to the enemy, you won't deal damage when the hero is standing in the circle; that's bullshit

I've regularly played Bebop since before the NDA dropped. Yes, he has an AOE from where he stands as well as where his beam ends. But that AOE only works if the enemy is within Bebop's line of sight. This seems intentional.

I'm not saying it's not bullshit; I've always felt it to be bullshit. But it is very likely intentional.
