I'd like to see a mid-priced item (3k?) with an active that acts like a basic dispell in Dota - removing slow, disarm, silence, etc. - but not working on stun, sleep, or root. Something like manta style active from Dota but without the illusions or disjoint. Or QSS from League but only a basic dispell.
Items like slowing hex, disarm, silence are pretty strong right now and you need to buy a whole 6k item just to counter them. Sometimes it just takes one of these items to counter your whole gameplan, which sucks because people usually buy them right after you've committed to a build. Like people often buy disarm right around when gun Wraith comes online.
3k seems like a fair amount of investment to counter these items. And it's not like you're straight negating them - the items can still be used on your allies.
It could also create interesting counterplay, e.g. using a slow to bait the active so you can silence them.
It also gives damage dealers an interesting defensive item to buy, making itemization more interesting. Right now they might buy a casual bullet armor or spirit armor if enemy damage type is imbalanced. But otherwise defensive items are off the table.
