I literally never abandon matches and my game froze and kicked me out. I tried rejoining and it did the first time, then it froze again. it was not working at all for me when I tried to get back into the game. I tried to restart my computer and by the time I got back it said I was banned. I've played over 600 hours and I never just leave matches. This seems like a very harsh ban... I am kind of upset that it is this harsh. And I know that it ruins other people's games (this was in the first like five-ish minutes btw) but I am not consistently leaving matches. I had a similar thing happen before but I was able to rejoin and I never got a warning or anything. My steam name is lunaraes.

tbf in lunaraes defense, I've had times where i've left games not cause i wanted to, but because my ISP is straight doodoo. It seems like some nights (probably high demand nights) where the jitters are off the charts and the game is unplayable. Unfortunately my area doesn't have fiber optic cable, so coaxial is as good as i can possibly do. my point being, at times we leave games not cause we are being toxic, so these sort of bans should be a little bit less heavy handed.

tell me how today is the second time I've gotten banned for 6H while just sitting at the menu... I work remote and left the game running in the background sitting in the menu. Finished my shift and went to start a match but had a ban that somehow triggered 30 minutes prior lol
