Banned before even joining the game

I got the prompt that a match had been found, the game began to load me in when suddenly i get booted back out to the lobby just to find out i had gotten a 6 hour ban, this felt very unfair as i did not even load into the match, leading me to believe people are now being BANNED for not even loading into a game on time
