Ban after successful rejoin

I set my resolution lower because I can't sit close to my screen due to a medical issue that popped up, and this disappeared the UI. I was already in a matchmaking queue and thrown into a game. In the game I could not see the menu, not see the buy menu, not see my reticle, not see my health - basically nothing.So I put in all chat that I can't see the UI or buy menu and closed the game so I could fix it.

I rejoined the game at 10m of validating my game files and deleting video.txt, won the game with 6v6 players but I got a 24 hour ban anyway, also from "brawl" which I've never played.

I would like to appeal my ban but more to the point, there should be a vote for a team with disconnected players to not penalize them or even allow the game to be ranked despite the temporary player number disadvantage.

my resolution was also messed up i couldnt see my health or any hud so i left my game and try to relaunch it. after a few relaunch i finally fixed it and rejoined but everyone alr left except for one person. i got banned afterwards . Do i still get put into the lowers elo (shadow ban from before)?

I'm pretty new but afaict there's an elo penalty that comes along with being put in the low-priority queue.

I think the current logic is that if the server decides the match won't count for rank or losses (weirdly asymmetric if it only counts losses / and not wins btw.) it's low-prio queue then ban for the second time. Couldn't tell you if X amount of times or X amount of matches even resets it.

I'm looking for a way to set up private matches now because auto-moderation + no team vote + no appeal + bans <longer than an hour> just sucks, makes it a hostile environment. (They're called "Custom Games" on deadlock.wiki btw.)
