Backstabber detection + Doorman doors

Backstabber could be a really fun early poke and harassment tool in early lane for Doorman, but the activation requirements hold item back from being useful. Since backstabber checks if the two players are facing the same cardinal direction in order to trigger and the two players must be within a certain distance; The Doorman's doors naturally create issues when determining if the item should activate.

The range limitation causes issues because it detects if the two players are within a certain distance of each other when the shot goes off. So this means you could put a door on the wall behind their shop and one in your jungle room and shoot them in the back, but since there's more than 25 meters between the two of you it wont pop; even though you're visually within melee distance through the door.

The doors can also be used in such a way to have the item trigger, even when shooting someone in the face. If you put a door on a wall such that you need to walk east to enter it, and another door along that same plane, any shots that go through it will trigger backstabber even though the two players are looking at each other. This also means that the doors make it so the item wont trigger, even if the shot hists them in the back if the doors aren't aligned

Just something i thought was worth mentioning

In a nutshell the target which is point blank (because of a door), does not synergise with items that do not work at a long distance ?

I guess it could be seen as a bug ? I believe that various on-hit effects do not work at long distance for game balance reasons, but, weapon damage works fine through doors so I do not see the reason why various on-hit effects would be weaker through doors as well.
