Spirit item, anywhere from 1200-3000 range.
Passive aura: Provides some spirit resistance for you and allies.
Active ability: Gain a powerful shield that breaks after a few seconds. After breaking, get a boost to spirit power the next time you use an ability, based on how much damage you absorbed before this item’s spirit shield broke.
Great when hit by a bunch of enemy ults at once and you’d like to live long enough to pay them back with interest.
EDIT: For an existing analog of this, check out Sentry from Awesomenauts. He activates the ability, and takes reduced damage during it. The more damage he absorbs, the more powerful his follow-up ability becomes.
