Apollo Riposte + Unstable concoction = Locked controls when respawning

When attempting to use riposte with unstable (just wanted to see didn't expect to work), I was killed but when i respawned my controls were locked off, abilities,mouse and movement.

Likewise, i also attempted the above and found myself running at mach 5 without being able to use abilities or attack.
