I love how my first post, with a lot of support under it, was completely ignored and swept under the rug by staff.
Very telling.
Either way, I received ANOTHER 4 day communication ban despite only speaking to my teamates and communicating normally the entire time. My only messages to the enemy team were, and I quote: "You guys have mcginnis on your team" "Ben gvir lane" and "Mcginnis carried". None of those are offensive; including the "ben gvir" comment- which is only offensive if you are either anti-semitic, or incredibly pro israel, both of which are morally condemnable.
I am tired of not being able to communicate with my own teamates because the chat moderation system is horseshit, please stop feeding into your echo chamber of a discord that flaunts how "you only get banned if you say slurs" despite the fact that i've reported people for saying the hard R excessively to no avail, yet I have been banned whilst using only built-in team communications for multiple games straight.
This is not only griefing me, but my teamates as well, who need to communicate with their carry (I primarily play warden and other carries). There is absolutely no reasonable justification for this, stop voice muting people in a game that contains a mute button. The report feature should solely exist to report suspicious gameplay and EXCESSIVE behavior, not a singular, non-offensive joke. This is a valve game- know your community, and stop projecting this pathetic mindset onto your moderation system. I have faced actual bigotry, which is almost always a complete non-issue to the deadlock team, and received nothing from it.
