Another day of need to verify game files after game loaded and started

Disconnected and 30 minute time out penalty for not being able to verify game files pak01.vpk. There has to be a better solution than verifying game files which takes 10-15 minutes and a full reboot of my computer.

Verify files takes like 2 mins max for me, and why you needing to reboot? thats not part of the process for me.
I still verify every hotfix, even though on times if forgotten ive had no issues anymore
