An item that reloads half of your weapon if the last shot is a headshot

Should this item have cooldown? Is it only for heroes or any target is ok?

I think deadlock should have better UI to track such things, or have less items like you proposed, not to turn game interface into another MMORPG game, where you have to track your/enemy/ally procs, cooldowns.

At first glance i thought that this game was supposed to be for gamers, for which dota is too complicated
But at the moment of beta testing i see that we have:
-16 slots
-- 4 of them could be active
-- some of them could be imbued

Good luck tracking all of them

I thought about this and i think it shouldn't have a cooldown, but increase your reload time. and i think it should work vs creeps. I don't think its too broken since melee charge is in the game and that doesn't seem too bad. And i kinda agree that it's hard to track item cooldowns at a glance, active items are fine since they have a dedicated spots with bigger icons, and imued items dont really have a timer you have to keep track of, but i get your point. and thank you!

That would need something like Crippling Headshot and Glass Cannon to not exist, and they are both straight up the better type of reward gameplay wise. There is a couple hero shooters that have that, and it just rewards getting to the end of the clip for those specific shots, never a fan of that kind of stuff.

I think this would be pretty overpowered with shotguns if it had no cooldown. If all it takes is one pellet to headshot give you a fresh magazine every time, then you could basically shoot uninterrupted for free so long as you can aim approximately at their head.
