AMD GPU timeout - RX 7800 XT

Hello, first of all I'm sorry I couldn't collect a lot of info about the bug I'm experiencing. I played one deadlock game, everything went fine, then I played another with Mina and the game froze and I got a GPU timeout window from the adrenalin software. I got this three times after just messing around in the hideout / sandbox. So for now, I only got this with Mina, however I'm not sure she's causing the problem as this bug happens at random time (sometimes I can play for 15 min without experiencing this, sometimes only 5 min). Other then when I get a gpu timeout, game runs very well (300+fps, even tried with doorman's door). That's all the details I can give, sorry. I would be down to like try to video record it if you think this would help you guys understand what's happening but idk if it would really help.

Here are my pc parts and my settings :
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
GPU : AMD RX 7800-XT
RAM : idk what brand but 32gb
Drive : I don't think it matters

Deadlock video settings :
upscaling tech : FSR2 (TAA)
scaling mode : performance
FSR Sharpness : 50%
Screen space Ao : Off
Distance field shadow : Low
Motion Blur : On
Shadow quality : Med
Fog quality : Low
Texture quality : Med
only post process bloom checked

I am having the same issue with my 7800 XT!
I have experienced this timeout at least a dozen time over the past several months, and have never had any GPU issues with any other title.
I haven't identified any particular behavior in the game that triggers the crash.
What happens is:
1. game freezes, but audio continues to play
2. screen goes black after a long delay and Adrenaline gives a generic timeout error dialog (sorry no screenshots saved).

I think you are mis-quoting the "AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Version" as the driver version. Mine is also 25.9.1, but that is not my "Driver Version" (see below)

You are correct, I was mixing up the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Version and the driver version, I have the same as you. I am happy to not be the only one. I will try using Vulkan and update this thread if it crashes
