buying split shot as a shotgun hero only allows a single pellet to deal damage until you activate the item once.
if an enemy buys split shot and they arent a shotgun user they permanently only take one pellet's worth of damage from enemy shotguns.
If the enemy buys split shot and they are a shotgun user, they only take one pellets worth, but also only deal one pellets worth until they use it once and then oncoming and outgoing damage values return to normal until the item is sold and repurchased
