Accidental Double Clicking of the Final Spell Removes It and Does not Refund

As the title says, I accidentally double clicked on the final upgrade for my ult, final upgrade of the game, and it did not refund the points and I was no longer able to get points, so I never got a final upgrade. It may have to do with the bug where you see someone else's abilities and items, as I was also dead.
