Abrams' ulti is useless

I think Abram's ulti has to be reworked. This skill is useless now: 1) the hero's model can just fall down onto a random hg, despite aimed area; 2) the damage and effect from ulti doesn't affect the target, if it stands above or below the cast area. I remind, that ulti has 2 minutes cooldown without items for reduction (and about 1,30 with them), so it makes it really useless in a most situations, although we have skills with more amount of stuns and less cd, like viscous' one. So i think it has to be reworked: make the hero's model pass through objects like lamps, trees etc, or add an ability to destroy them (the game is on source 2 engine, so i think it is possible). Also the damage and stun should spread spherically. Sorry for english
 
I agree with spherically aoe, right now abrams ult is just a glorified uninterruptable majestic leap, only use for initiate, chase or escaping.
 
Anything but useless. For all intents and purposes , it is as good at stealing rejuvenators as a lash ultimate , especially once maxed (makes you unstoppable during cast)

The proposed change to a spherical AOE, would make it actually as good as lash Rejuv steal, and fix the problem it has with targets on different elevations.
The way it currently is, if Abrams lands on stairs (or a slope), everyone at the top or bottom of the stairs is unaffected/unpredictably affected despite the fact they are visibly in the AOE.

Geist's tier 3 Bomb upgrade, and a few other "surface" effects have the same problem, at a slightly different elevation, people are visibly inside the AOE, but completely unaffected.
Personally, I think "surface effects" like this should conform to the surface of the map (not become spherical), ie. actually be higher/lower at different elevations within the AOE so people standing there are affected.

The indicator CLEARLY shows where you should land on your first skill, and then some odd surface stops you.

I mean, i am ok with objects stopping me, but at the very least the indicators should inform me where I would land correctly, before I confirm the attack.
 
As for Abrams ult, well, not all Ults should have similar power levels, it really depends on the entire kit of the character. Abrams has strong survival and control abilities, making him very strong with a close quarters build, without using his ult at all.

As I really want a smoke grenade item in the game, maybe his ult could create a heavy cloud of dust from the impact ? For some extra fun ? Dunno, sounds like perhaps this actually be negative as it would obscure vision for teammates as well :D
 
I think a nice change would be to make it way easier to drag targets that are airborne to the ground. Right now, a vindicta or talon can just fly away
 
Earthshaker should have ability to blink because antimage can just blink away from Earthshaker.

I dunno, this is a MOBA after all.
We need a bigger pool of heroes and a picking/banning stage, is all.
 
i think abrams ult should break the rejuv crystal, with maybe an extra second or two of it taking effect so it breaks crystal as soon as its smashable because the time to hit that would be wayy too tick perfect otherwise

Yes, but on my video i had been blocked by zipline sign....
 
I don't think it's useless but it is really inconsistent it feels like. Being able to dodge it with certain abilities like Shiv W is really silly.
