Abrams shoulder charge not connecting bug

I've had multiple accounts now of shoulder charge just not connecting to an enemy (Meaning I fly through the enemy as if it wasn't a possible target). I even ask them in all chat "Hey so why didnt my charge hit you?" and I would expect "I have unstoppable" but instead even they say "I have no idea, you should have hit me".

The latest patch has made Abrams shoulder charge very inconsistent. I can even sometimes charge people into imaginary walls. I understand the corner of ramps can be questionable at times, but I wont be near any wall and I've stunned people, even when they were supposed to fly further into my walker. They get stunned against an imaginary wall while my charge only runs for .5 seconds instead of the full distance I was supposed to get on an enemy.

Abrams charge is in a pretty bad state right now, I wont be playing him in ranked thats forsure.
 
I've also experienced this. I'd have to dig around in my match history to find it, but I had a match where I was laning vs an Ivy. I NEVER once got the shoulder charge to connect with her but it'd connect with other people just fine. I assumed maybe it was an Ivy passive, but now I'm wondering if that could have been a bug.
 
I had this a couple times in one game on the 25th, but haven't had other hitreg issues on charge other than some rubberbanding since.

First clip the Lash is being held by Mirage's Tornado. Shoulder charge never hits an enemy when they're held by Tornado (turns out this is incorrect, see 2 posts below), however this may be a bug as I don't seem to see anything in the ability's description which suggests a target should be immune to movement abilities.

The second clip I was struggling to see what happened so I had to view the replay myself. She does not use unstoppable, but does get hit by Vindicta's Stake moments before you Shoulder Charge. Shoulder charge will not stun unless you hit them against a surface. When you hit the Haze she is already at the furthest length of Stake's tether, so you immediately leave her behind.

I do however have a case of Shoulder Charge not contacting an enemy when I believe it should. Here the Viscous gets hit dead-on with Shoulder Charge while he is mid dodge, but I pass straight through him. He does not have Unstoppable and is not under the effect of any other ability.

Shoulder charge never hits an enemy when they're held by Tornado
Turns out I was wrong about this. Did some testing in the sandbox. It's extremely inconsistent.

Sometimes you can manage to pull Mirage around a bit with Shoulder Charge, but when you do you almost always drag him behind you, leaving him really far behind where you end up.
 
Add Kinetic Carbine to the list of things which can stop shoulder charge from connecting.
Here Kelvin is hit by the Kinetic Carbine, then my Shoulder Charge passes straight through him.

I had a match last night where a paradox ult'd me while she was in my shoulder charge, we traded places, then she teleported back to my shoulder to get stunned by the wall. When I watched the replay, it showed something slightly different with the paradox ulting me before i charged, but then she still blinked back into place to get stunned on the wall. I think recently there's a desync happening between what players are seeing and what the servers are seeing. Maybe part of the update where they give the server more time to figure out who secured souls?

Happened something similar to me too more than one time. Sometimes after a shoulder charge when I hit the wall with an enemy, the enemy blinks a bit away from me, losing the chance to capitalize on the stun.

Also I had shoulder charge not connecting too other times. I can't pinpoint a replay reference from my last games but I will remember to get the replay immediately and post it if it happens again.
 
This issue occurs in basically every Abrams game. Either the charge does not connect when it should, or it connects and after the stun abrams keeps moving past/into the enemy. For example you charge an enemy into a railing, fence, barrel, etc and the enemy ends up BEHIND you after the charge. Started happening after the charge changes 2~ weeks ago when you became able to move more left/right

Abrams has been my main since I joined Deadlock a month back and I've noticed recently that his shoulder charge has been increasingly buggy--maybe in part due to now being matched with players who know how to position themselves better. Last night, I had a game that felt like the worst instances of poor charge interactions and connectivity (all three clips are from Match ID: 29519452, recorded using Steam at 0.5x speed) that really made me want to bench the blue guy until his abilities gets fixed. Let me know if I am incorrect or if people feel that I should post these in a different thread. You'll noticed when watching that I have had to train myself to 180 my punch aim to connect a heavy melee because of how often my opponents are dropped off behind me or aren't even pulled along, especially when I'm charging into an Infernus who is using his sprint ability (I even heard the Abrams quote that I interrupted Infernus in the clip with the Lash ult).
