Ability points bug in street brawl

I'm not sure if this is a visual bug, but if you level up an ability to level 1 and then cancel the leveling, the leveling will remain, and the point will return and can be used again. This only works when canceling a level 1 ability; it works fine with level 2.
The screenshot shows the first round of the brawl, but I used 8 points in the upgrade
