Abandoning match during loading into a match bug

So basically, I got this bug when I accidentally pressed abandon match when the game started to load into a match. The game continued to load into the match, but instead of me loading in as my hero, I was put into spectator mode, where I couldn't join my team. Thankfully, though, the match soon canceled itself. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the match ID or a recording, but I reckon that this bug is probably repeatable.

I had something similar. When I wanted to cancel the search the game found quickly and I accidentally pressed the Abandon button then my friends and everyone else loaded into the game but I abandon it, so everyone just waited endlessly on the start screen, not еven the character icon or disconnect icon didn't show up.

Still happens as of the 7-11-2024 patch. Just happened to me. It does result in a temporary matchmaking ban.
