80-100% GPU Usage even on lowest settings

I've gone through all settings, set to lowest and individually tried some things including both renderer options and haven't had any luck lowering the GPU load. My current card is a Radeon 7900XT, didn't see anything similar here on the forums in regards to power use/load. When Deadlock is the primary focus it eats solely my GPU, spectating or playing are both the same.

Obviously I've checked these numbers against other games just to make sure it isn't on my end, it's the only game I have currently that gets even close to that (Max settings DotA 2 for example is only putting my machine at 40%).

If there's a quick fix anyone knows of or something to try I'd be grateful, the game is really fun and I'd love to test more!

I was having issues like this as well on my 3070TI. I was able to lessen the issue by capping my frame rate using some commands shared in the discord.

1. Open console by pressing F7
2. type fps_max <target frame rate> to cap your fps (I capped at 144)

This dropped me from 99% GPU utilization on low settings to 40-50% on low settings.

I've already done this in game to no avail, still having the same issue appreciate the advice though!

Edit: I actually did do this earlier, then went back in used the fps_max 144.00000 preset through console and that one actually worked, thanks for making me go back to look!
