Unfortunately, multiplayer games have a long tradition of allowing professional griefers to play with the system. The real root cause is able to keep going on while bystanders tilt and start to behave even worse.

My advice is to report if you think it is real reason, ignore bad actor and hope the next game is better.

I have already tried talking to the devs and the community with respect. The devs do no reply to anything unless you are jerking them off, and the community just replies with stop crying or other trolls remarks. I agree with that bit, but your initial message is a joke.

That's EARLY TESTING stage of the game. Being toxic instead of trying to help try fixes is what got you banned. And I was pretty toxic in few matches, once someone started being toxic, never got banned. You had to be REALLY toxic to get banned.

Was it right to be toxic or grief? No. But hardware banning is ACTUALLY INSANE and to anyone who disagrees with me is just a snowflake who enjoys watching others suffer because it makes them forget about their own suffering for a short while. Not a SINGLE other game in EXISTENCE will PERMANENTLY HARDWARE BAN YOU for SINGLE OFFENSE WITH ZERO WARNING. It literally does not exist. If this is the emotional composure you exhibit while communicating with your team, I don't even know how you morally manage to argue that there's some reason for you not to be permabanned.

No it isn't. That is an absurd comparison. It's the equivalent of the grocery store banning you for stealing, which just happens to be something that every grocery store does.

Hardware bans may have been used a little too liberally, but I'm glad you got one. You seem extremely mentally unhinged. And this definitely wasn't over you using some "cuss words" in one game. That being said, in a full release, which you spent money on- a HW ban for text and voice without warning is obviously a little absurd.

But, this is an ostensibly "closed" alpha, standards of behavior and the purpose has shifted. A final release game is about selling hats and keeping people playing.

This is about providing feedback, or at the very least, being a goodsport and exploring the game so some other player in your lobby can provide feedback.

You don't seem useful to the purposes of the Alpha. It does seem reasonable to get unbanned on release or the beta phase or something but that's obviously not my decision to make.

Valve has done an amazing job filtering out the extremely toxic players, great job guys.

You can tell these guys deserve their bans, because the one thing they never do is apologize and try to change. These toxic children are incapable of learning their lesson. I hope they stay banned for life, and the only way to get unbanned is a psychological evaluation.
