they're wearing the british uniform like so, maybe their abilities are channeling the spirits of their lost platoon members to do a volley shot or something

fights extremely hard one on one and can shoot people from anywhere on the map with a spirit zeppelin.
1 - spirit platoon - summon several soldiers at your side to shoot spirit damage when you fire your gun.
2 - bane grenade - throw a grenade that explodes on contact with the world or an enemy, spreads high damage and silence duration evenly among all targets hit.
3 - liquid courage - defer 100% of damage taken for a duration and clear it all if you get a hero kill or assist.
4 - spirit zeppelin - channel to control a spirit airship that hovers over a target area on the minimap and can use twin guns as primary fire and spirit damage bombs as alt fire. uses your weapon damage.

Isn't there some canon around a war against Ixia?
A grizzled veteran of the Ixian war would be cool, hell have two of them that are from opposite sides who have begrudgingly respectful voicelines or something
An ult based around artillery or something would be sick,
Walking Barrage - Waves of artillery shells crash down in front of your character marching forward
(Like first one lands 5m ahead, then +3m each additional shot)
Nearby allies recieve a significant but short lived movespeed buff and have their stamina refilled.
Enemies caught in it deal reduced damage and are slowed for a similar amount of time.
Audio cue of trench whistles sounding before it starts.
could also have some kinda gas attack, he puts on a gas mask and leaves a trail of some kind or something.
just general horrors of war but with an inter-planar twist.
I would also love to see someone with a slow ROF weapon with high damage, give him a bolt action rifle with high damage, could have some super funny mystic shot/express shot builds
