This isnt a item idea but it is relevant to items.
We have limited space to communicate our thought process in the custom builds editor. I really love the system so far, but a simple addition would make it perfect IMO.
The system should allow players to leave and edit notes/ tips on items themselves in the build. So when a player hovers over it in-game they can see our notes and understand the thought process.
There are lots of little nuances to items choices the more I play. Lots of items work very well with one another. Some items you need when youre on the front foot and others when you are playing from behind, etc. I am making a Patch build right now and while there are a few cookie cutter builds I could write for him, he uses so many items really well or really bad depending on the situation. I just want to leave notes on some item suggestions, so anyone trying my guide can be be aware of some key factors. Id rather write a "Masters guide to Patch" that is easily digestible just from player-made tooltips. I think Dota has this exact feature. 7k hours played in dota but It has been years so I cannot remember lol
