How odd. It's definitely not bugged fully in game. (I can't check snowglobe as this is my friends profile)
Do you guys have any mods installed perhaps? Sometimes they can change weird little things so it doesn't hurt to check.
YES. Bumping this. Thanks for figuring out the cause this happened to me many times. Very annoying never knew why it was happening. I also thought it was due to alt-tabbing, etc.
Hope this can get fixed!!
Did this happen during a live game? If it did could you supply the match id? Maybe I could pull the replay on my end and clip it.
Doesn't sound game breaking like you said (does sound funny though lol) but should probably be addressed.
I wonder if it might be intentional sense it never "technically" kills you? I agree it is rather strange though. Bumping this cause I'd love to hear an explanation I've never seen this before.
I have slightly good news but mainly bad news.
The good news is that a pot is programmed to spawn in that little area and I discovered that if you can stand on that pot without breaking it you can unstick your hero.
The bad news is that the pot can be pretty easily accidentally broken...
Also concerning we're seeing these kind of glitches done in low elo games as well. If this becomes a rapidly repeating thing before it can be fixed that can be a huge problem.
Here's the clip from the replay of Doorman going out of bounds and placing his doors. For archival purposes and maybe to also help devs diagnose the issue.
Doorman almost certainly doing it on purpose. When he goes under the map it almost feels accidental because he starts shooting up but then...
I hope so too. Seems to be quite a few bugs with Doorman lately so I hope I could maybe make the job a little easier for the devs on this bug at least. Definitely game breaking.
I've figured out how he did it. When you jump into the ceiling normally your camera cuts close to the hero to not show out of bounds as intended.
However, if you're holding crouch and jump into the ceiling your camera doesn't cut as close as it should. Therefore revealing the out of bounds...
