Technically there is pure damage from other sources (mystic reverb) but it is categorized as spirit damage and just not affected by resistances. I think spirit lifesteal should just affect true damage.
Tbh I think the only thing to contribute at this stage is abilities. If a certain play style seems good to add to the game, then we can add whatever art or story to that kit. Other people seem to prioritize art over abilities, and I don't think that makes sense.
I like your potion brewing effect more than mine though. I think it should be taken over my 3. It can be a powerful buff/debuff/damage effect based off what plants you get, which has the drawbacks of needing brewed and having only one potion at a time.
Spent like 6 hours on this in total. It encourages the enemy to shoot you while it's happening and is a fantastic duel tank/damage tool. As formulated it would probably be the main tool in the kit and you would have supplemental abilities, otherwise it would probably need to be weaker. It does...
The barrier generation rate with a softcap exists to make it inefficient to use this when you're not being shot, rather than it being a flat amount of barrier. If what you've suggested proves too viable then the softcap just needs reduced. Also if he has other abilities that are good at...
Okay after spending like 5 hours on this I think I have the design that works for a barrier to damage ability. It encourages the enemies to shoot him and weaken the barrier before it expires, the numbers don't get too out of hand, and it starts and scales well.
I've been thinking of making a character with the "barrier into damage" mechanic (I guess Valve already did but I think Celeste's 2 is a terrible idea) and I do not think thisi s a way to do that. The passive itself is functionally quite similar to lifesteal, it just isn't affected by healing...
Oh I forgot to say, this includes Vulnerability, a Keyword I invented for my Spirit of the Tome Character, which I encourage you to look up as well. I will explain Vulnerability again here:
Dealing weapon damage to someone deals an equal amount of true damage to them out of the pool of...
He's going to have a lot of interactions and cause a lot of fights in the jungle, trying to claim enemy jungle and then trying to stop him. He has a game plan of getting stronger by claiming more jungle camps. His 2 is like an inverted Rem 2. The claiming of jungle camps is like the inversion of...
