I personally, do not have an issue with people who shouldnt be in the tunnels getting stuck by using an item or ability that teleports them to a target. However there should be some sort of teleporter in there that sends them to base or something similar. Waste their time lets them get out...

I know this is a couple weeks late, but I literally started putting 1 star reviews at the end of every match with the reasoning being "The xmas event is ruining games" basically every time. Including some of my wins. I didnt participate. I literally have one ornament.
