I am aware of this. I understand it's not always an easy fix. I've seen this kind of thing with other software's .exe files too. I just posted about it because I think long-term, it'd be nice to have. That being said @Hallucinate made a good point that dota 2 files still say dota 2 beta... so...
As you can see from the video below, the pop-up reticle for Shiv's "ult" (mapped to 4 key) appears to stay on Wraith after Shiv's death, along with the camera that stays pointed at Wraith all the way from Shiv's spawn. I've encountered a similar issue with Bebop's bomb pop-up reticle in the...
I've been encountering occasional but STEEP frame drops while playing this game.
Match ID of clip below: 463,749
GPU: RX 6650-XT
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
Below are my video settings, they're basically the low-med basic preset with 1x render resolution and VSync turned on.
Steps to replicate:
Click on any option in the main menu that ISN'T settings (examples: Play, Watch, Heroes, Learn to Play, or Resources).
Hold the escape key for a few seconds. At this point, you should hear the high frequency "menu close" sound effect spam multiple times per second. NOTE...
I will add footage once I can replicate this in an upcoming playtest, but I recently played Bebop and in the pre-game lobby, when I held right-click to aim/zoom in (which as we know causes Bebop's gun to windup), the windup kept repeating for as long as I held down right-click. Ideally in a...
See attached video. I selected Infernus, clicked on the right arrow a couple times to navigate to Lady Geist, browsed Lady Geists' build, and when I backed out of browsing her build, the menu returned to Infernus, not Lady Geist, the hero I'm currently on. This kind of thing happens with all...
When starting up Hero Training and Lane Training from main menu > Learn to Play, the text next to the esc prompt in the bottom right says "Save and Back" instead of the usual "Back". I assume this is a bug because there's nothing to save at this point, I haven't even locked in a hero to start...
Not a pressing issue, but the name of the game's .exe file should be "Deadlock.exe" so that the taskbar, Start menu, and desktop icons all say "Deadlock" instead of "project8".
As you can see in the attached video and the still frame I captured, the "colored glowing pillar" vfx/particle system that appears over a pickup/buff can occasionally flicker/get cut off in the middle for a few frames. This video also shows the pickup UI bugs I mentioned in another bug report.
As shown in this image below, there are a couple issues with the animated UI when picking up a buff/item (the ones that appear in destructible vases and crates). First, the text is kind of blurry when scaled up. Second, you can see on the sides of the asset that the left side of the hero...
