Yes! Same for me. I'm also on Ubuntu, and the setting menu freezes everything for about 60 seconds for me (not repeatable).

I'm having an issue where, when I enter the settings menu on Ubuntu 24.04, the game freezes for about 60 seconds and won't respond to anything. You can't get out of the menu or change any settings. Eventually it will unfreeze, and you will be able to continue playing.
