getting placed in E6 lobby on a hero i have down arrow on and im E1.

getting placed in eternus 3 games when i'm playing a hero i haven't played in 1 year and a total of 10 games on which all where when i first started playing. is hero based matchmaking removed or what. how can i ever play anything other then my main heroes.
