I just encountered this in a game, it's the reason we lost. The Paradox was playing dumb, but she built entirely around the bug; we all reported her.
This needs to be fixed *immediately*.
Can be reproduced by just, y'know, going through a veil with Veil Walker, or using Shadow Weave. The glow from his keys is definitely not supposed to show like that, and it obviously interferes with the whole "being invisible" thing.
The damage being based on map distance may be intentional, tbh. All the same, I would love it if they made damage falloff apply properly somehow through doors; maybe by having it be calculated based on distance between the door and the target.
This issue with the numbers being misaligned persists across all characters, and was not resolved by exiting the game and re-entering. It first appeared when I booted up the game a few minutes ago and clicked on Explore Map; there was a short freeze in the menu as it loaded, and when I appeared...
Is it possible that you're losing more often in the games you aren't playing with your friends, and winning more often in the games you are playing with your friends? Then they could have a higher winrate despite you sometimes playing together.
Also, like... if the game is keeping you "stuck"...
Found in training mode, steps to replicate:
- Buy Extra Regen
- Use Medicinal Specter
Medicinal Specter normally heals 152-154 HP at base level, and does so consistently. After buying Extra Regen, it instead randomly heals between 129 and 178 HP with each cast. I tested this by damaging myself...
Kinetic Carbine's damage doesn't increase as Paradox levels, even as her gun damage and spirit power go up. This results in the ability dealing almost no damage, and needs to get fixed very fast for the character to be playable.
