Tested more this morning and I found a new temporary fix that I will add to the main post.
Connect your controller to Steam, go to Steam > Settings > Controller > Calibration & Advanced Settings > Close this pop up window > Reopen Calibration & Advanced Settings > Close again > Launch Deadlock...
Bump but with an update, I discovered something strange that got it to work without having to do the temporary fix. This was found with the 8bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless in 2.4ghz Dinput mode (Home + B):
I connected it to Steam before starting Deadlock which would normally break it from working...
This is the issue with making this game more and more public, the developers need QA testers and they are doing it more publicly than ever before. Yes the game can be enjoyed but realistically the game needs to be shipped and anything to help ship this is more worth while than an enjoyable...
UPDATE: I had a bit of time to mess around in the map today and I checked all the other lane wheelbarrows and they all will clip you through the map if you M2 Slide into their handle sides.
Really hope Valve gets to this and helps you, you are the exact kind of QA player they need for this game, your contribution is super valuable. This is alpha testing and we need more players like you to find issues a developer doesn’t always have time to find themselves.
Well done finding this bug, very informative and great work showing actual examples of this. I'm sure Valve will resolve this for you, unless they've changed their stance they never punish players for bugs they blame themselves for it not the player for just playing what they've coded. This was...
ISSUE:
When doing a backwards alternative fire slide (M2 Slide) into the back of the Wheelbarrow in the Yellow lane facing the Archmother side it will cause you to clip through the map and fall.
