Yamato Glitch: Ability Two

Encountered a glitch while playing Yamato — used Flying Strike, but I died before it could latch onto an enemy. When I respawned, "(SPACE) Abort" was still on my screen & I couldn't use any attacks (no gunfire or abilities) or jump. All I could do was walk around. Tried dying again and opening menus, but nothing fixed it.
